Chapter 24: Adversity
Her sudden misfortune overwhelmed her, bringing a sense of defeat she had never experienced before. For the first time, she doubted herself:

普通人真的想要做出点成绩真的太难太难,身受束,脚下步子缚,唯有心飘扬,却只是个梦。

她其实很想再次去图书馆看看能不能找到上次那个和自己聊天的人,但想想还是算了。
Because that person was enveloped in negativity, she already carried her burden of negative emotions. She couldn''t bear another blow from their negativity.
因为那人全身上下都是负面情绪,她现在本身就自带负面情绪,不能再承担他负面情绪的打击了。
